Peter is this season’s perennial over-performer: his ever-ready smile is accompanied by his willingness to take up the ball and claim wickets when it matters most.

In the past month he added two more five-fors to his record, bringing his total so far to three, and his total number of wickets to 28. It is no surprise then that he has a strike rate of little over 15 balls per wicket, an average of around 13 runs per wicket and an economy rate of under 5.5 runs per over.

These numbers combine to place Peter as the club’s top bowler by far.
